Scattered thnderstorms are in the forecast for the entire week...they had better be handing out umbrellas with the pints of Mad Dog and generic cigarettes to the attendees...

Prior to moving to Atlanta I lived 2 years in Charlotte, it is prone to thunderstorms and lightning. And because of its lower elevation to sea level Charlotte is more humid and muggy than Atlanta.

You bet they do! Some real humdingers too in July and August. And very unpredictable as well, as is all weather in the Charlotte area. However, I think things start to quiet down quite a bit in September.
