One would think Rove could better accentuate a point than referring — even jokingly — to the murder of someone. That sh*t doesn’t fly anymore.

But it does fly. It flies directly to the target. It was intended to come across as crude and calloused as it did. It is a threat. Of actual homicide? Not very likely. Of targeted personal and career destruction with no chance of a recovery in this lifetime? Absolutely. Further, it was intended to go public, as an example to any uppity Grand Old Plantation field niggras who might be getting ideas above their station.

A murder threat against a member of congress or a candidate must be a federal offense....

After all...the congress critters look to support themselves first....like:

1. exemption from social security and private pension plans.

2. a doctors or first responders office on each floor of their office buildings

3. exempt from Obamacare

4. insider stock trading

5. and general abuse of the office....

as Clint Eastwood said the other day "you are our employees"

So....getting over the rant...

What's the Federal situation regarding a murder threat to a congress critter....?
