Is it my imagination or is Honey Boo Boo 1) about 6 years old and 2) dressed up like a Las Vegas hooker?

Agree with you. The culture has been degraded in every possible way.

The fourth episode of TLCs Here Comes Honey Boo Boo...It actually made it to four shows? I watched the first episode hoping for some memorable "here, hold m'beer" moments (none) and told my wife afterward that there's nothing there for a show, no entertaining content whatsoever.

I have been watching Trailer Park Boys on Netflix. I have had some really great laughs watching that show.
Of course, it’s not for anyone offended by bad language.

But they’re white and live in the rural South. They must be Republicans. /sarc

Most people probably watch the convention on CSPAN, which isn’t counted in the tv ratings, (I don’t think).

Boy the anti-Romney people wait to run here and post the media articles basically gloating about how nobody watched Ryan last night. lol
To: Uncle Slayton
Actually, the article is wrong. The show beat out individual cable channels covering the convention. They didn’t come close to beating the entire cable coverage of the convention, much less the entire coverage of the convention including broadcast media.
I listened to part of Ryan’s speech on the radio, because I was not home. But that doesn’t count in the TV ratings.
To: CatherineofAragon
I had to turn it off as well. This show gives rednecks a bad name.

I haven’t had TV for past 3 nights because I lost power due to Hurricane Isaac and I’m having withdrawal symptoms!

think about it....I am watching the convention and I REALLY enjoy this sort of thing. I wouldn't need to watch it to help me make up my mind because I have already done so and it is unchangeable.
The Democrats, on the other hand don't want to hear the truth....they love to go through life with hopey, changy feelings and no accomplishments whatsoever.
I hope people really realize that this election is the most important in our lives and I'm old....voted for Kennedy!! But then I woke up and saw the light.

They always say, if you want to see what she’ll look like when she’s older, look at her mom. So she’s got that to look forward to.
