The fourth episode of TLC‘s “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,” a show that makes “Jersey Shore” look like “Masterpiece Classic,” drew more viewers in the 18-49 age group on Wednesday night than the second full night of the Republican National Convention.

Well the democrates have to watch something don’t they.
Hate to tell them this, well not really, but most of us have eschewed cable for live streaming of the convention. We don’t WANT the bobble heads telling us what to think and what we just heard. The ratings are meaningless, unless they can show that the mainstream channels/cable are in their death throes. :D

What the bleep is a Honey Boo Boo? Is that like a Snookie?
That’s not possible. 7 million watched on fox alone. No cable show gets close to that. O’reilly is the top cable show and gets a couple million a night.

I watched the Convention on CSPAN..I know others who watched it online. Many people don’t have Cable TV so they just stream it online. Of course Dems watch that Honey Boo Boo garbage that family matches them intellectually

i have no idea what a honey bobo is and for that i am most thankful if it make JS look like anything approaching worth watching...

People know they can get and as much analysis as they care to sit through online. I listened to Christie’s speech on my iPhone jogging home from the office. Have to say Honey Boo Boo is an entertaining show. The family seems loving, if goofy, fat and uncouth. To it sort of exposes liberal hypocrisy. They claim to fight for the lower classes, they complain about materialism and unattainable body images in the media, etc. but when presented with actual fat blue collar folk (from a less favored victim class) they recoil in horror. Wait a second...just about everything reminds of liberal hypocrisy.
It's worse. It's about a bunch of trashy people who bob for raw pigs' feet. (Seriously). The mother is morbidly obese and looks like a human thumb, and her elbows are crusted over with black dirt. I made the mistake of checking out an episode, and I had to turn it off. It was literally nauseating.

the problem is more with the age group which is more interested in themselves than the nation, and less with the GOP.
When the America-haters run the asylum, the white trash gets the spotlight. Joe Biden is another example. We’re being beat down with the worst possible examples of our kind. We’ve gone from ‘Little House on the Prairie’ to ‘Honey Boo Boo’. From Reagan to 0bama. From good examples and leadership, to humiliation and dysfunction. Throw in the never-ending rap culture, Kim Kardashian and Snookie and it probably doesn’t end well.
