Roy Blunt also said this morning that he still thinks Akin will quit, He sure as hell isn't going to quit if he sees this poll. I wouldn't either.

The GOP will give the guy no money if he stays in,....even if it means we lose the senate...I guess I'm dumb and dumber....even if he is tied or ahead...is he dumber than McCaskill ???

Oh, they’ll find a way to get plenty of money flowing to him, if they need him to win in order to take the Senate...

It will be interesting to see if this poll is truly accurate. If Akin remains ahead, what will the GOP do to help him? To do nothing is to play into Sandra Fluke’s and the DNC’s (Debbie Blabbermouth Schultz’s?)lies.
Maybe the best thing would be to rely on surrogate organizations and PACS to aid in this campaign?

I think Mike Huckabee, who promoted Todd, on Fox News should donate at least $10 million of his own money to him. He wouldnt even miss it. Akin isnt going to back out so put up or shut up Huck. Otherwise, youre just full of hot air and could care less if McCaskill won. Bty, my gut feeling is that Akin can still win with a little help from conservative Missouri voters and a landslide victory for Romney that lets Akin ride his long coat tails.

This election boils down to one thing; "Anybody but McCaskill."
LearJet Claire is tied at the hip to Ubama, and she's going down with him.

Anybody but McKill...exactly
For all those who are voting for Romney ONLY because they hate Obama...
Obama is to Romney as McCaskill is to Akin.

If Obi can’t energize his “base” in KC and StL, then Akin may pull this off.

I'm sure if it starts looking like Akin could win, the GOP will find some way of directing money his way, without it coming directly from the GOP.
To: Antoninus
My feeling is that he said a couple of sentences that were somewhat shaky and shouldn’t have said. He claims now that he had evidence in book form to back himself up.
Look at the crap the Dems have pulled starting with Clinton on down and no one complains. At least Akin has the stones to stand up for himself and not cow tow to anybody. That’s more than anyone can say about his Republican buddies.

Where are all the anti-Akin posters?
Waiting for an actual poll not paid for by one of Akin's "biggest supporters."
