This report claims that missiles capable of carrying WMD warheads were found. It does not claim that any of the actual warheads were installed. Some of these chemical warheads need to be activated before being installed for use anyway. Then the rebels claim this is proof that Assad will bomb cities. False. Assad has plenty of artillery shells, chemical spraying helicopters and airplane delivered munitions that he can use on his own cities. The missiles are for attacking cities and bases in nearby countries. For example Israel, Jordan and Turkey.

Possible that the report was botched and they meant to say artillery shells or bombs, but the rebel claim that this is proof Assad is preparing to fire Chemical WMD on his own cities is false either way considering the evidence. At any rate, it would be prudent to assume he will use them when backed into a corner. And you have backed him into a corner. The main question is has he used them yet ? So far, they have not been needed. But you can bet you bottom dollar he has standing orders to fire off everything if he is killed, which is why having uncontrollable Islamic terrorists amongst your force structure is absolutely idiotic.

Could be that they found some of the stockpiles of weapons the Israelis took satellite pictures of, being caravaned out of Iraq, and moved to Syria, right before the Iraqi war. Wonder how old the weapons are.
