His picture does not show any staple marks and not even any bruising that would be associated with a broken jaw. I suspect this whole story has been badly garbled, and that is probably understandable. I also saw that the police said they hope to learn more when they can speak with the victim.

I would like to know what the emergency room doctor's version of the story of the mouth stapled shut through the gums?
