The caption on the picture said this was the boy describing his attack. It sounds to me like a drunk kid got punched and made all the rest up.

He described a crack in his lower jaw between his front teeth, yet the first hospital did nothing about it. Then later on he went on his own to another hospital and had his jaw wired shut.

I wonder how anyone could unquestioningly believe one word of this farce. How many kids get punched in a bar or party every night? It is a non-story if he does not embellish it.

I don’t doubt his jaw was broken, it’s other parts of the story that are odd. He is claiming behavior by the crowd which the police don’t corroborate.

Also without jumping to any conclusions, this was after a late late night off campus college party, and it’s highly likely a lot of these folks were drunk.
