Wind has really picked up here in past 10 minutes. Bob Breck telling Plaquemines Parish president he’s looking at least another 5 hours before they get the strong bands past him, but till 9 or 10 tomorrow a.m. before he sees it getting over. That means 11 or 12 noon for me I guess, since it’s coming in later.
wow.
Now, Bob Breck is saying storm just moved west. He's expecting it will take another jump north soon (what it's been doing all along. He's soooo frustrated with this storm lol).

An interesting subplot over there is that one guy in NOLA is not only dealing with the storm, but is playing midwife to his dog while posting updates about the new arrivals. Yikes but lol.

We're doing good, so far. But Bob Breck just said this storm has stalled...not good news. It'll dump more water and he said we'll have to deal with this a lot longer than first anticipated. wow
Isaac looks like its stalling and waiting for western area of convection to come around before starting back again. May sit for 6-12 hrs

Miss river levees se of MSY already within 2 feet of overtopping as surge is coming up the river. Levee may be "funneling" it Pray
