Actually, Akin is not conservative enough in my book ~ odds are that he, like The Huck, is a fan of public roads

What you are talking about is not conservatism but libertarianism. I am strongly libertarian myself but I have set all that asside in our common battle against progressivism in all it's forms. Are public vs. private roads really that important right now?

Todd Akin is much more conservative that I am. So be it.

(aside from questions about the campaign, technology has been the delimiter of road ownership. Your typical LIbertarian would probably take the same position out of ideological concern. Modern technology will shortly allow us to sell operating rights to roadways ~ which should be done as quickly as possible to get automotive safety into the hands of responsible people)

At the moment my primary complaint about Akin is that he played footsie with the Democrats, then fell into one of their traps ~ an interview with an antagonistic far leftwingtard.

Whatever else he'd been doing right, he did that wrong in his race for the Senate.
