Love Him or Hate Him, You Don't Know Him: Obama's America, 2016
The Chicago Daily Observer ^ | August 27, 2012 | Daniel J. Kelley

Posted on 08/27/2012 10:32:21 AM PDT by PBRCat

Obama is a proponent of failed economic policies that have left much of the Third World mired in poverty. Rather than acknowledging that centralized economic planning is a failure, Obama faults America’s industrial might as the cause of economic malaise that has crippled much of Africa. The answer, therefore, is not to abandon the discredited economic policies, but to disable America so as to level the playing field. Once America is bankrupt, Kenyan economic programs are bound to succeed!

As someone who follows politics and current events closely, I thought that I was better informed about Barack Obama’s radicalism than most people. Nevertheless, the new documentary film exposed me to much more information than I had previously been aware of. Obama is not as bad as I thought. Arguably, he is worse, much worse. If you still subscribe to American exceptionalism or believe in American ideals, you need to see this movie with an undecided voter who is persuadable.

In 2008, I was initially disturbed by Obama’s bizarre hero worship of his absentee Kenyan father which sometimes bordered upon pagan idolatry. During the same 2008 campaign, by virtue of reading British newspaper articles, I was aware of the fact that Obama’s father was less of an outstanding academic and renowned economist and more of a violent alcoholic and bigamist. He was also a Marxist who believed that a tax rate of one hundred percent could be justifiable.

If you consider yourself to be a regular Democrat, you also need to oppose Obama’s reelection in November. The incumbent may have found it expedient to masquerade as a Progressive member of the Democratic Party for electoral purposes, but he is not at all a traditional Democrat such as Jefferson, Kennedy or Truman. He is a radical ideologue. As was demonstrated in the healthcare controversy, he is indifferent to the survival of the Democratic Party as a viable political force, provided that his agenda is enacted into law.

Come on, everybody. Romney is our real problem!! Our country can handle another four years of Obama, but could it handle EIGHT years of Romney??

Obama is barely an issue when we have ROMNEY staring us in the face!!

Right?

What a lot of conservatives, conservative Republicans and traditional Democrats, not to mention Independents, miss about the Obama/Romney race is that Obama is not your typical garden variety left wing Democrat.

What he is an insidious subversive, an evil menace who really believes America is the new great colonial power, and, as his father opposed the colonial policies of the British in Africa, he opposes the “colonial” policies of America. He is a third world communist with a small “c” in the guise of an America citizen.

He REALLY believes Americans are too cool in summer, too warm in winter, too well fed and too well medicated, when compared with economic third world basket cases like Kenya.

AND he believes that the way to even the road between America and third world countries is to reduce America to their economic and political levels. And THAT is exactly what this monster has been doing all the while he has governed in America. And the movie brings it out VERY well.

Apparently the GOP bosses believe it’s already too late. That’s why they’re trying their best to lose the race. Oooops! That’s racist. Meant to say “lose the ELECTION”.

So you saw the movie?

This is like watching a steam roller bear down on the communist thug.

His wildcard is starting a war in October. Safe bet he’ll do it.

You are out of your mind.

You would refuse to throw water on a raging fire because you don’t like the color of the bucket.

With a conservative Congress Romney will be no threat.

There is a pull down list by state on that page, select IL and it will show you statewide, hopefully there is one near you. It is worth the time & $$ to see it, even if you already know about most of it.

I have heard reports of applause after the movie. When my wife and I saw it Friday evening at a Noth end Seattle suburb the theater was a little less than half full. After the movie ended, rather than applause there seemed to be a stunned silence, and about a minute or two before most people even got up to leave. Anyone else have this experience?

We heard (and participated in) a lot of applause at the show we saw. I heard on the radio that at some showings, people are leaving in tears and weeping. I suspect that for someone that really didn’t know what has been going on for the past 4 years (and maybe even was a supporter in 2008), when they are confronted with the truth, it may be very saddening (and then they will get angry!).

Yes. I saw it on Friday.

I would put NOTHING past this thug.

Hope and pray Israel can put off thier attack on Iran until AFTER the election. It will only help Obama if they are forced to do it before hand, which will, in the long run, hurt them.

I’ve seen this amazing movie twice now - once in Jacksonville FL and the other in an Orlando suburb. Absolutely same experience - no applause at the end of the movie - only stunned silence. This is an extraordinarily powerful indictment of the “real” Obama - the true Manchurian candidate whose past was scrubbed clean so that gullible whites could attribute to him their own individual hopes and aspirations. The movie is beautifully photographed and produced. It is even more powerful coming from Dinesh D’Souza, who grew up in a parallel world to Obama - in an anti-colonial environment. D’Souza decided to change his lot in life by embracing America and its founding principles. Obama decided to change America’s lot. The movie actually portrays Obama in a somewhat sympathetic light. Given the facts that he was abandoned by his father, then abandoned by his mother at very young age, then foisted onto a card-carrying, America-hating black Communist, could we possibly expect him to be God/country/apple pie American? The tragedy is that this man - who did not hide his desire to “transform” America - was allowed to ascend to the highest office in the land with the aid and comfort of the “journalists” and academicians who purport to value “truth” and civic “transparency”. The fact that this story is told from the viewpoint of a fellow, dark-skinned individual who was born the same year, married the same year, and graduated college the same year as Obama is extremely powerful. An American-born caucasian telling this story would bring a hellstorm of “racism” accusations raining down on him. D’Souza’s background cuts this accusation off at its knees.

This movie is a must-see, even for rock-ribbed conservatives who are “tuned in”. We live in a visual world - pictures, TV shows, movies all have immensely greater power and effect than the written or spoken word. And, D’Souza lays out a well-designed and very well documented case - part legal brief and part psychological analysis - that frankly will stun even the most hardened FR veteran. Conservatives have to see this so that we can resist the GOPe’s meme that Obama is “incompetent”. The man is anything but, as the movie demonstrates. Rather, he is uniquely gifted and probably truly brilliant. We on our side need to fully understand that this man is by design destroying the country, because he is fulfilling his life’s mission, namely that “dream from [his] father” that “neocolonialism” should be destroyed - not to benefit the poor but the punish the colonizers. For the longest time, I thought the man was just a poseur, just a puppet dancing to the strings of Soros et al. The movie argues that he is, if not the puppetmaster, an active designer and participant in this nightmare.

You MUST see this movie. See it several times! Take your family, friends, coworkers - pay their way if you must. The $7.50 will be a worthwhile investment to keep the country from hurtling off the tracks to the abyss that Obama has planned for us.

Thanks, I was going to look it up later.

There is ONE theater showing it in Chicago. Is there any surprise I refuse to go to these commie creeps’ theaters?

I will go see it just like I bought the “Newsweek” with The Disaster on the cover.
