The mistake I made was in the words I said, not in the heart I hold. I ask for your forgiveness.”
It is clear from the context that Akin intended “legitimate” to mean “actual,” not “acceptable.”

Very Convenient, that you didn't comment on Akin's "magic uterus" theory, I.E: the female reproductive system shuts down during rape.
And what does that do to change what he said afterward about the female body shutting down the potential to get pregnant?
