They created the latest helllholes of Afgha, Pak, etc. etc.
if you look at the picture of Kabul university from the 70s 
it doesn't resemble modern Afghanistan at all.
Until the Mujahideen (remember: WE sponsored them) won, women never wore burkhas -- even in the villages they wore scarfs etc. and even that was unheard of in Kabul and Damascus and Cairo
Then the Mujahideen won with our money and weapons and life in Afgh has been a hell
Face facts, the US has been played for a sucker by the Saudis -- we provide the weapons and the Saudis provide the "training" to jihadis to spread Wahabbi islam
And we're doing the same thing in Syria now...
