Thanks for your thoughts. I am going Tuesday Night to hear Mrs. Romney and Chris Christie. I have been a little reluctant to actually go, but have faith that the police and security will be top notch.
Just thought I would report from here in St. Petersburg. All is well.
Issac is not going to cause problems to the Tampa bay area, except probably littls rain bands with some wind. Sun just peeked out here and no rain for the past six hours. Just overcast and windy.
As for Issac causing trouble elsewhere, I hope it does not strengthen as it heads toward MS and LA. Seems when storms enter the Gulf they head for the Florida Panhandle area and coastlines of AL,MS and LA. News about this being the anniversary of Katrina is surely to make folks in LA worry some. But remember one HUGE DIFFERENCE! Now LA has a wonderful Governor in Bobby Jindal who will make sure folks in LA are safe. During Katrina LA had a DEM Governor and New Orleans Mayor with few brains! As much as President Bush tried to warn and help them, they were too dumb to protect their citizens!
Now for the Protest Folks thinking they will cause trouble in Tampa. What they might not know is we are prepared for them! Perhaps they know nothing about our Governor Scott and our Law Enforcement folks. They are ready, and the Hillsborough Prison system has 1,700 spots available for anyone who chooses to not behave themselves. The “teaser & cart off to jail dance” will be done if need be!
Hubby and I are looking forward to attending one event tomorrow evening in support of our Military, and on Thursday afternoon an event honoring our favorite Congressman, Allen West. And the Florida sun is out bright as I end this posting!! :)
