These Operators were outed by the grand standing of the current Administration. That and the Administrations desire to warn Al Qaeda that the Navy SEALS had their address book and would soon be coming for them.
Why’d you have to tell them? They could have come up to make Jihad just around the equinox, and then “enjoyed” the Alaskan winter wonderland. In the spring, you could thaw them out and thrown them to the polar bears.

It’s real simple, if I don’t reveal a source, one option is to not believe me and believe the “journalists” that I’m throwing rocks at.

BTW, I will say that Fox has access to Matt’s real location. For some reason they either did not do the research, which would be very odd, or deliberately chose to go with false information. I don’t know which or why.
The FOX person who authorized the release of such information is a traitor to the United States of America.

The White House, any administration, does not have easy access to Pentagon info, such as operational files that may not even be in the Pentagon.
Read my post, I didn’t say they don’t have access, it is just very limited and difficult to access.
Obama didn’t put targets on any specific operators. They are not turning on each other. Many are turning on one operator only that cashed in on their story, get it straight.
In this case, those affiliates include Fox News.

Semantics are for politicians.... This Administration officially disclosed the name and methods of the previously secret SEAL Team 6. This tasked our enemy with the immediate job of identifying members of said team! All of them!
Am I to believe that members of SEAL TEAM 6 are so stupid to think that they could disclose the name of one their own and not identify themselves in the process? I got it straight.

In this case, his former SEAL buddies and other sympathetic individuals should set up traps, isolated cabins in the rural woods, and intentionally lure jihadis there by letting it be known on the Internet where he and his family are living. Supposedly.
When they show up armed to the teeth with guns and explosives, they discover that they have ventured into a roach motel. And they are never heard from again.
This is not a situation of arresting them. They wanted to murder a man and his family in brutal ways. If they show up without weapons, be they jihadi or journalist, all they find is a “Gone Fishin’” sign on the cabin door. And they can walk away.
Those who come with murderous intent do not find innocent victims, but their own destruction.
I received alot of anger from freepers when I said he was wrong for writing a book. Obviously this book is just going to fan the flames of hate for Americans. Do I need to mention we still have plenty of our men and women over there? Glad you agree with me. This guy may have been a Seal at one point but now he is a sell out and publishing a book was wrong.
Well said. There is no need for a book, the salient operational facts are all out already.
In fact it is unlikely that the operator knows much about the political and policy aspects of the raid.
I am doubtful that his book offers any interesting insight beyond the mechanics of the raid.
