Dolan is closing the dim convention the last night... he claims it is not an endorsement... but his actions of the past would call into question the veracity of that claim. I am very confused by some in the Catholic Church. I am also in awe of some in the Church.

What are you talking about? Dolan was not invited to give the Benediction at the Dem convention.

He is giving it at the Republican convention.

Go read post #69. I was misinformed by a thread on FR two days ago. This was coming off the annual fund raiser in NY where obama and Dolan were together. I am happy that obama fears GOD and his representatives enough to block Dolan from closing the dim convention. I am happy Dolan will close the convention for the republicans.
