Nothing demonstrates Akin’s lack of respect for the pro-life movement as much as his fanatical determination to remain in a total lost cause.
If Akin truly cared about the unborn, he would recognize that the GOP cannot afford the risk of ANY marginal Senate candidates this cycle.
Without a senate majority, Obamacare, the most radical pro-abortion federal law in our history, will remain on the books. Harry Reid as majority leader will never allow a vote to repeal Obamacare. NEVER.

I saw his apology, where Akin stated he was wrong. Lots of people say stupid things. I am more concerned about Obama, Clinton, Kennedy, Dodd, Reid, Gore, Pelosi, Franken, .....

Not quite. Akin should depart because he is a.) ignorant, b.) incoherent in support of the pro-life position, c.) full of himself and d.) stupid (as distinct from ignorant). None of these aspects are attractive in a Senator -- even if he is pro-Life.
How about a pro-life candidate without these burdens...???

According to the latest poll I saw posted here today, (Rasmussen I think) MO is going to the Marxist, thanks to Akin. Of course it’s early and subject to change, but there’s already several graphics of Akin.
