He [Santorum] hardly ever seems fired up himself, so it is hard for anyone else to get fired up about him.
To quote John McEnroe, "You must be joking." :) He was so fired up there was an issue in that regard (his wife had to tell him to "cool it") as he was coming across as a loose cannon, which he somewhat is. That being said, Rick wasn't perfect, but he would have been IMO about 100% better than Romney. Rick had (and still has) a great deal of prayers said for him too; I won't be surprised to see great things from him now and in the future.

Yes, Rick is a great speaker when speaking to a group of his supporters. He’s absolutely one of the best at firing up a group of his supporters. But I think Romney is the best candidate to run against Obama this year. Please see post 37.

I just didn’t see that. Seemed like a wet noodle to me. Not as bad as Pawlenty, but not really commanding any enthusiasm except from people who were enamored of him solely for his policy stances.
