Are you Raisin’ for Akin?
Yes, it must be a fear thing!! And just like the Ron Paul supporters, I am guessing you really believe he has a chance.
I am pro life, disliking Romney and loving the Lord and our little Baptist church, but I'll be darned if I will defend a man who is an idiot. And brother, now trust me on this one, making moronic statements about female biology (not to mention the unfortunate "legitimate" rape comment) makes you 100% a fool.
Now what I find shocking is this drive to get behind Akin, whom by the way does significant damage to the cause(s) you claim to support. So yes, Akin may be a wonderful man and a good Christian, but neither makes him a viable candidate for the US Senate.
The latest Rasmussen polls show Akin down by 10-points, and he is branded an idiot at the National level. He will own the brand, and if he doesn't drop out before 9/25 he will lose the election. If he truly cared about the cause he would recognize his unrecoverable blunder and step aside. He doesn't so he won't.
Akin believes his candidacy to be “providential.”
I donated and I’m in Kansas City, as long as the self appointed “national leaders” of the party do not keep there noses out of our local race I’ll keep donating.
We pray he has a "come to Jesus moment" and quits while there's still time to mitigate the damage and select a pro-life constitutional conservative who will beat Claire McCaskill.
I don’t follow anyone.
And I don’t find what he said offensive. His words were poorly chosen, but I find Claire McCaskill offensive.
The extent of your anger over this and what he said is irrational to say the least.
Someone pushed your button, glued it down. drilled a screw in it, then welded it.
And they are going to do it again.
And again.
And again.
And it will work every single time.
I am to the point where I am just going to wait and see what he does after a week. We have until 25 September to replace him...I know it won’t be as easy as if he dropped out yesterday but still possible. I think there is so much drama right now. I am going to go neutral on Akin for now.
“Only $4,900,000 left to go to just break even with the money thats already been withdrawn.”
Actually, that’s just the amount withdrawn by the RNCC. Lot’s more than that withdrawn by many others, including Crossroads.
And if thousands donated $100,000 then that’s about $20.00 each and probably about all he’s going to get. Takes A LOT of $20.00 donations to get to 5 million.
So, the new rule is that any republican who makes a mistake or misspeaks is to be burned at the stake and forgotten.
Akin screwed up so I guess that I must vote for the democrat.
OK, if that’s what you want, that’s what I’ll do cause I’m a good republican.
If Obama gives a $100 million to the Romney campaign I would start to be concerned. So far no evidence of that.

The guy had the Senate seat locked up and he flubbed a question that every Republican has learned how to answer. It wasn’t a tough, surprise or gotcha question.
What idiotic statement is he going to make next? What other nutty scientific beliefs does this guy hold near and dear? He is a walking time bomb. He is going to take out any and everyone associated with him.
I am so sick about what this idiot has done to the conservative and pro-life movement. He has made himself a laughing stock. It will take years to undo what this simpleton has done.
