Not yesterday's news. Aug. 28 news with a full-page ad in the Tampa Tribune. It is unfair, but this is how they will continue to exploit Akin across the country. Akin gave them a weapon and a gift that will keep on giving. This election should be about the economy and jobs. To a certain extent, Akin has allowed them to dodge that issue. They will keep hammering this and it will resonate with independents. Thanks, Todd.
Maybe the worried should ask Akin how he turned the numbers around so fast, and then do the same thing themselves, if they’re that worried.
I think the basic message is “the guy flubbed some words, he apologized for it, and it is nothing compared to the fact that you, your kids, or your friends can’t find jobs.”
