Liberals have been praying that Isaac hits Tampa and the GOP Convention
As I was borned in Tampa and live there 21 years and moved to Destin Florida I knew it had more of a chance to turn away from Tampa.

We need to pray that the Republican Party Platform takes a strong stand against gay marriage and against all Abortions, no matter the circumstances of the pregnancy.
We need to pray that the Republican Convention bans GOP Proud and the Log Cabin Republicans for any events or participation in the Tampa convention.
Only then can we move on with the Convention and Tampa can be safe.

I wouldnt crow to much about it. I’d sooner it hit the convention and have it put off for a bit, instead of tracking westerly like a pretty reliable model has it doing.
That storm goes over the Gulf Oil fields and you will see 5 dollar a gallon gas.

It looks like the storm is tracking west of where they thought it would go yesterday. That will make the MSM vewy, vewy sad.
Turned on the Weather Channel hoping to get an update on our local weather. All they had on for 20 minutes or so was national news and suggestions about new musical groups. Checked channel listing twice to make sure I hadn’t gotten to CNN by mistake. Reminded me why I quit watching the WCINO.
That was Joe Bastardi saying cat 4 or 5. He tends to be overly dramatic, but stay vigilant in case he’s right.
It moving into the Gulf is actually bad news. I’d rather is coming up over the keys and quickly weaken.
It’ll stay out over the Gulf, increasing the chances for it to become strong. The NE quadrant is the most dangerous area of a hurricane and now it’s going right over Tampa.
A Cat 3 landing on the coast of the Panhandle on Wednesday or Thursday would be bad for the convention.
