Don’t count on it. Many rats probably told the pollster that they are voting for Akin just to encourage him to stay in the race.

Little if any money to campaign and now confirmation that he can’t win. He is out within a week IMO.

She doesn't need to be if Akin stays in and Palin's call for a third party challenger comes to pass.

The good news is McCaskill is still not over 50%.

And that is exactly the rationale Akin will use to continue this failed crusade. A few days ago, he was citing the PPP poll that (while sampling R+9), showed him a point ahead. Now he's going to say... "See?.. I'm weathering the storm. I must stay in because God wants me here for the people of Missouri."
