First this poster signed up in Feb abs has been pushing some third party option nn stop. Gee I waonder why. Now this same poster is pushing to keep this fool in the race ti keep the Dem's distraction strategy on track. This Akin guy is way over his head and allowed the media to change the topic which WAS the Obama and Biden train-wreck agenda.

He is a selfish power hungry fool with a very ambitious wife and son as the real story goes ( those two are the campaign staff ) !!!

He made a mess on his own and should have shown some class and quietly left the stage .

But now he is playing the victim card .

I live in MO. Claire McCaskill Is very hard to beat with a really good candidate here. I don’t understand it but every time election time comes she turns outs to be the best of liars. Her political commercials always make the opponent look the fool. To be honest that in not a senate seat we had in the bag.

“Rep. Todd Akin was in Tampa Wednesday night meeting with top conservative groups and donors, several sources confirmed to POLITICO.
The embattled Missouri Senate candidate flew to Tampa to meet with members of the Council for National Policy, a secretive coalition of powerful conservative and evangelical leaders, activists, and donors...”

It might be door stop in the Senate should Akin get there, but it goes a long way toward keeping Dingy Reid out of the door.

It’s so unfair it seems. Democrat Senators behind bad science like warmism and allegedly water polluting fracking, and they get jillions of votes. Akins voices a bogus sexological opinion and oh boy, the earth is going to cave in.

Just because Democrat voters will support a dumbass doesn't mean that Republican voters should be jealous.

Everyone knows (or should know) what he meant.

Are you daft? He said something stupid, you just don't get it. It went beyond the "legitimate" statement, it went into some stupid notions about human physiology and biology. It was beyond dumb, and anyone who doesn't see that is either willfully ignorant or, well, just plain ignorant.

EVEN IF this guy can find a way to win, he is doing damage to the Republican brand nationwide. Absolutely, he is a selfish asshat.

This guy made a complete fool out of himself on Hannity’s radio show .
You need to hear that conversation on the radio.
The guy was a wacko.
He won a 3 way race thanks to Dems voting in a open primary and with a few millions donated by Dem Claire.

So who will stick with him?

Evidently, Claire McAskill.

Yep. There are several of them. And they all have the same strategy. They only show up to promote 3rd party or stay home. Yet they never show up on threads criticizing the Kenyan or Dem corruption.

Could you please tell Todd to get out of the race? You are literally probably right next to him as you are typing.

Please, come on, comparing global warming to rape.

Give it up.

“Also, for now at least, polls show him still ahead of the embattled incumbent in the race”

Very interesting.
So what if the national RNC has withdrawn its support and money.
Could Mr. Akin win this anyway?

If the polls hold up — even if he slips behind McCaskill, but remains “close” — the RNC and GOPelite may have no other choice but to reconsider and support his campaign.

The title of the article reads:
“Who will stick with Todd Akin?”

I’m not in Missouri, but if I was, I’d vote for him anyway. He may be an S.O.B. — but he’s OUR S.O.B. Whether or not we like him, we need his victory for nationally important reasons.

If Mr. Akin chooses to fight, then the only recourse is to go for broke and fire everything we have at the ‘rats, blast them broadside and then hit them again. Before this, McCaskill was viewed as highly vulnerable. It’s her own “negatives” that account for such low popularity, not Akin’s gaffe.

Perhaps he believes in what Churchill said, referring to the enemy, to paraphrase:
“Never, never, never surrender!”

If we’re going to go down in Missouri, we may as well go down fighting.

pro life conservative

Me too. But the Akin fiasco has nothing to do with pro-life vs pro-abortion, Rino vs conservative. And stupidity is not a synonym for "conservatism". We can do better. We don't need a Biden to represent us.

Let's not forget, it was Akin and his remarks that saved the day for Biden. VP Biden was the news cycle before Akin had done what he did.

What the hell is wrong with you? Flaming someone for telling you about the opponent?

Could you please tell Todd to get out of the race? You are literally probably right next to him as you are typing.

Are you making a personal attack because I live in Missouri?

Comb-over Pictures, Images and Photos

You can tell by Akin's awful comb over that he has serious issues with facing reality.

The only poll that has him in the lead was a fraud-PPP poll that oversampled Republicans by 9, basically a Dem effort to keep Akin in the role. The idiot fell for it too, touting it to Hannity as one of the reason's why he was staying in, when Hannity informed him that the poll was heavily weighed towards Republicans, in the resulting silence you could almost hear his jaw drop, I honestly believe he hadn't even looked into the poll sampling before touting it all over the place.

The success strategy to being re-elected when everyone in the state doesn't like you.

-Pick out the biggest idiot in your opponent's primary field.

-Support said idiot to the tune of $2 million worth of television advertising

-Watch idiot win the primary, then sit back and wait for him to say something fantastically stupid and let the fireworks begin.

Well played McCaskill, well played.

No, you’re right about Akin. I used to like him. But then I found out that there are fewer than a dozen words that rhyme with ‘Akin’, and that just wasn’t enough for a lot of puns and headlines, so I’m achin’ and I kin’t support Akin. Are you an Akin kin?
