sad. MO has a conservative running who stumbled over his words....and they are willing to toss him aside for a RINO?

Akin is not withdrawing and I am glad of that. Jo Ann Emerson is a RINO. She would be worthless as our MO Senator.
My opinion, not that it matters, is that of the three top vote getters, Steelman is the weakest conservative, Palin's endorsement not withstanding (and don't flame me please, I LOVE and support Sarah Palin and would work for her if she decided to run for President or much else!)

Come on now. He didn’t stumble, just as Obama didn’t stumble when he said “You didn’t build that”. Both of them really believe what they said, and that is why you can’t back track with “I didn’t mean it that way”. If its good enough for Obama, its good enough for Akin.
It seems the powers that be in the GOP want the nominee to represent them to override the choice the Missouri Republicans made as their representative. Pro-life will experience a Sister Souljah moment.
Problem is - he stumbled over his brain, not his words. He is either a certifiable idiot, a misogynist, or a democrat plant. I am leaning toward the latter at this point.
