Shariah law and Islamic customs are diametrically opposed to liberalism except for the fact that both of them hate George Bush.
For many liberals.... the hatred of Bush outweighs political correctness (the enemy of my enemy is my friend?). In many Islamic countries an Arab in a Subaru who displayed one of those “coexist” bumper stickers would be beheaded, jailed, or stoned to death for displaying other religious symbols with the crescent. Seriously.
