I’m not understanding how the party negates the voters in Missouri who nominated Akin. Shouldn’t it be the voters asking him to step down?

This is party politics ~ the STATE COMMITTEE should get busy with a deal ~ and quick!

The 'Voters' might mean anything ~ which it did ~ and as far as we can tell this guy was the Democrat darling 'cause they thought he'd be easiest to beat.
