Indeed, distribution of goodies and fair shares is not governing or building anything, more like looting.

And even investors will put their money in a bigger bag simply because a winning business hit needs several attempts with significant funding, something the so called “village concept” cannot figure.

there's a wonderful short story by Richmal Crompton about a group of young men in the 1920s (all are about 17-19) who get "inspired" by the idea of communism where they can ask their fathers for their "fair share"

however, unbeknownst to them, their little brothers are listening and also get "inspired".

So, on the day they ask their fathers, they discover that their bicycles, cameras, money etc. are missing. They then see their little brothers coming along, happy with their "shared goods" and spank them :)

Well, in the end they cancel the plan with their fathers and say "it's ok when you want to get your share of other people's goods, it's when other people want to get their share of YOUR goods, that's the catch" :)
