I think that's a reasoned thought. I just don't want to get into a situation and have to mess with tricky reloading. I purchased three clips magazines when I purchased my weapon.

I agree that well designed and manufactured revolvers are inherently more reliable shot for shot, but revolvers do fail. I have experienced a damaged forcing cone and a broken ejector rod in duty range qualification/practice. Both malfunctions disabled the respective revolvers 100%.

Although I have experienced malfunctions with auto-loading pistols, I have never experienced a 100% disabling malfunction in duty range qualification/practice.

BTW, I have always carried S&W or Ruger as duty sidearms.
