Why? Specifically, what did Akin say that you disagree with or was incorrect? If you are only concerned about the MSM response to what he said, how would you have suggested he handle such a very direct question about abortion in cases of rape?

You aren't the only one to notice the similarities. There were plenty ready to throw Pete Hoekstra under the bus for his asian ad against Debbie Stabenow in Michigan and they became even angrier when he didn't apologize. Today he's the nominee and has a good chance of defeating Stabenow. Pete Hoekstra wasn't my choice but I saw no problem with the ad and I intend to vote for him in November.

It's the MSM that gives Liberal Democrats a pass while harping on Republicans/Conservatives. While we may decry the MSM's double-standard or try to downplay it's influence, unfortunately the masses of average voters are not so in tune with issues and the truth, and will likely fall for whatever tall tale the MSM wants to spin.

Having Akin's comment played over and over during the campaing will have a damaging effect. If he stays on the ticket, we'll see who gets to say "I told you so" in November.

I want Claire defeated come November. I will vote for Akin, even though he was not my primary candidate. Akin stuck his foot in his mouth and made the subject about 'legitimate rape' and NOT about abortion. I know so called Christians that call children born out of wedlock bastards. Now I cannot find it Written any place in the Bible that is what God calls children born out of wedlock. Piety is not a pretty picture when it 'naturally' turns people off and running to liberals for cover.

Furthermore 'legitimate rape' is NOT what this election is about and you can better believe the JonStewart media, liberals biggest charity bar none, will take every opportunity to ignore the murdering of the unborn and twit, tweet, facebook and report on 'legitimate rape'.
