Will Cap and Trade cost jobs? Surely that is a rhetorical question

Will jobs be lost with cap and trade?

Don't be silly. Businesses will flock to states with high operating costs. We're entering a new Golden Age here.

"Extraordinarily smart people at the California Air Resources Board...."

"Extraordinarily smart" and "California Air Resources Board" are phrases that simply don't fit into the same sentence. The CARB hasn't produced a "smart" policy since the 1950's, and they weren't even there in the 1950's.

“So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can. It’s just that it will bankrupt them because they are going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted.” — Candidate Barack Obama,
San Francisco Chronicle interview,
January 17, 2008

“Under my plan of a cap-and-trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket.” — Candidate Barack Obama,
Same interview as above

“We’re going to have to cap the emission of greenhouse gasses. That means that power plants are going to have to adjust how they generate power … but a lot of us who can afford it are going to have to pay more per unit of electricity, and that means we’re going to have to change our light bulbs, we’re going to have to shut the lights off in our houses.” — Candidate Barack Obama,
Iowa PBS interview, November 9, 2007

So much for President Obama’s claims to be for an ‘all-of-the-above’ approach.

Unelected, enviroNuts who think saving a planet that naturally regulates itself is theor core mission. Instead, the argument should be about jobs .. yet here we have the Green movement pushing an economy over the edge.. which is their job.. or so it seems.

And as California starts to go dark, first with Brownouts that then morph into permanent Blackouts of whole areas, the Leftists nut cases sit in their urban caves. No power, no heat, no cooling, no food, no water, and they wonder why is this happening to me?

When they finally come out of their urban caves, bands of feral welfare leeches relieve them of their property and their lives. Even in the last seconds before it's a permanent lights out for them, they still cannot understand why.
