That way, when they start their heavily biased, full court press against Romney/Ryan throughout September and October, they'll be able to point back to this cover and say they've been "even-handed," with their criticism during this campaign cycle.

Yah, I think this is a preemptive “fairness” strike. Still, we conservatives cannot have it both ways: either these are influential or not. If influential on sheeple, this WILL NOT go unnoticed.
