It’s true. As Krauthammer pointed out, Paul Ryan’s selection allows Romney the opportunity to execute perfect judo. Let Obama attack the right on Medicare and take his thrust and energy and redirect it at two things - Obama cutting $750 billion from Medicare and using that money to fund ObamaCare.
Soon enough Obama will stop talking about it.
I guess I’m the only one bothered by Ryan and Romney’s Medicare line of attack. (Of course it’s good that it’s hurting Obama).
Medicare is unconstitutional, and therefore illegal. The genuine conservative position would be to abolish it. Yet, we don’t have this.
We’re just arguing about how big the redistributive post-Constitutional United States of New Deal is going to be.
I can’t get in the least bit excited about Republicans whining that Democrats are cutting an illegal entitlement program too much. Isn’t the GOP the “cut too much” party?
