I wonder how many of these students are being bused in order to create integration? How many buses would be needed if students were assigned to the nearest school?

Walk to school?! I did that for elementary school in my hometown in CT. Them this week, I read that in an only slightly larger city (Manchester), parents were arrested for letting a 7 and 11 year old walk the city unattended.
It is a different world.
