44 of the US States are LARGER than Israel, yet no country is more HATED in this world. As Romney points out, Israel has the most successful economy in the entire region. This is in spite of the petro-wealth that has been flooding the region for the past four decades (measuring just from the 1st oil embargo in 1973.) It is indeed amazing how poorly, in both money and material civilian support, the Palestinian population has been supported since 1947.
Now Iran openly and frequently states, through multiple spokesmen, joining with multiple other Islamic politicians and clerics, to state that Israel’s mere existence is intolerable to the entire Muslim world. The resounding silence of dissenters in the Muslim world speaks volumes of the status of tolerance in that Muslim society in the world.
