The alleged shooter in the Family Research Council shooting may have had a second target, according to the head of the group.
Floyd Corkins II allegedly had the address of the Traditional Values Coalition in his possession. The organization, a lobbying group, has similar views to the family research council.
Clearly we need added protection after this. My understanding is we were the next target, says Andrea Lafferty of the Traditional Values Coalition.
Traditional Values Coalition is located in the 100 block of C Street in southeast D.C.

Dontcha love how the woman with the TVC says they need better protection—and in the next sentence this sampling of the MSM lists the block they are located on?
News you can use.
A left wing domestic terrorist.
Has any of them yet published the address of the “LGBT” organization with which the shooter was involved?
Not that I’m aware.
He sure planned to get around. I read that he had intended to leave a Chik Fil A sandwich by each body, but I didn’t realize that he thought he was going to get to wipe out two conservative organizations.
But maybe the second address was a backup in case he felt he couldn’t get into the first one. I read that the guard who took him down was actually head of security and was not wearing either a uniform or a weapon, so I guess Corkins went ahead and tried to get in there because he didn’t realize that he had run into a major obstacle - a smart, determined man.
Yeah, that was not nice :-( MSM agenda, hidden message to anyone listening out there....
No, and I’ve been wondering about why that org. has been so tight-lipped about Corkins as well.
You can bet some leftist group/individual is behind him, needs to be outed.
Likely because he taught in public school, is nominally black and likely homosexual. A threefer in the diversity lotto. If he were a “transman” they’d be forming human shields.
I don’t believe the pervert had a gun. It’s against the law to carry a gun in DC. /s
I’ve said before that there is some inflammatory literature and a list of organizations to target, if not on his person at the time then at his residence. They’re closing ranks and will stonewall to prevent disclosure. His computer needs to be seized as evidence and any organizations that may have inflamed him need to be raked over the coals in a very public way. I will be very pleasantly surprised if that happens, though.
Yep, i think you’re spot on there.
Lucky the shooter was a liberal, or we’d be caught up in another round of debating gun control.
“Lucky the shooter was a liberal, or wed be caught up in another round of debating gun control.”
Let me re-phrase better, it should read: “Lucky the victim was conservative, otherwise we’d be caught up in another round of debating gun control.”
(the ideology of the shooter makes no difference - since it is assumed Tea Party, only the victim)
LOL!
Wasn't it his retired military father who was the public school teacher? Corkins himself had been working at the gay organization, so I don't think he could have been a teacher at the same time.
As for the "black" part of it, "nominally" is even an excessive description. I certainly would never have thought that he was black in the one photo I saw of him, and I wonder if the description of a "black male" was actually a confused reference to the security staffer (who is genuinely black).
Yes- I don’t even want to imagine the massacre that may’ve taken place if that guard were not so quick and determined.
I think the FBI will look at everything. They above all should not have any bias nor any reason to hold back.
We’ve been spared that litany from msm in any case.
I know. It’s certain that the people working at the FRC would have been sitting ducks for Corkins, even though he was probably a lousy shot.
Sometimes all it takes is one brave man...
I guess I’m much more of a cynic than you. Any bureaucracy is full bore PC these days, public sector or private sector. The FBI is not immune.
