Don’t read too much into Putin being ex-KGB, he isn’t about ideology, but about power....if the Czar was still in power, he would have served the Czar. He admired the Soviet Union’s power, but not its’ internal economic policies.

The funny part is - these women in their closing statements compared their trial to Stalin’s “troikas” and “purges”... Stalin would have show trials and execute his opponents. Lucky for these women, they’re not really living in a Stalinist regime.

Obama represents the distorted perspective of the far Left. The attitude of treating the desecration of a Church service as some form of free speech is very analogous to what the ACLU has accomplished with the help of Activist Judges, over a multi-generational assault on Legal perspectives in America. What we have now is not at all what the brave men who won our Liberty ever intended.

See Leftist Word Games & Religious Freedom.

The assault started out as a defense of dissidents' right to not participate in school or public prayer; but gradually morphed into a denial of the right of the Faithful to have school or public prayer.

Frankly, I commend Russia for not following the idiotic example of what our Leftists have accomplished--for the time being, at least.
