I don’t think Romney would be the one to state this, but someone in his camp needs to come out and actually state it, in effect, innoculating the campaign.
“It seems that the media is going to characterize any effective criticism of 0bama as being racially motivated. So, with that in mind, we’re going to choose to ignore any such characterization for what it is - an attempt to shield 0bama from well-deserved criticism of his policies.”
