Boss Tweed and Tammany hall are central to the movie.
THEY need to be forced publicly to do their jobs on the behalf of We the People. It needs to be forced so hard, that in their failure to yield to the will of their employers, another term will be moot.
If you have the skills and ability to go to your precinct and vote, you can use those same talents to get a freeking ID.
Show one city in America where this has been a documented, actual problem for large numbers of legitimate US citizens who want to vote and can’t because they do not have an ID.
They cannot. The problem doesn’t exist except in liberal minds. They have anecdotal stories but can never produce anyone who’s directly been affected.
If they ever did, we could demand the democrat answer why they chose to find the time to put this person in front of a camera as a “victim”, instead of simply just taking the person to the DMV or City Hall and getting them an ID.
I would also like to know how anyone functions in banks, grocery stores, airlines, driving, getting insurance, bars, getting utilities, and dealing with police, without ID, and why the democrats instead of NOT HELPING THESE PEOPLE GET ID, if they know so many of these people are out there, allow them to remain without ID? WHen in most places it’s free to get one if you can’t afford one.
Wouldn’t it be a great service to help these people get IDs especially knowing most major life functions demand ID? Here the democrats allow people they supposedly KNOW by the millions to be left without photo ID, deliberately.
Throw the damn argument back on them. Watch them stammer and stutter like idiots.
What a bunch of tripe. Having people show who they are is only logical and fair. Of course people should have to identify themselves with legal ID at the polls. If claiming that this is disenfranchisement takes the cake for utter nonsense. Allowing people to identify themselves and get their one vote is ENFRANCHISING them.
He’s right. Obviously, minorities can’t be trusted to successfully get something for free from the government.
