Is Joe Biden setting up health (or insanity) defense to renomination?
Excerpt:
While Obama is standing by Biden, the rumor mill has been working for months about Obama ditching Biden for Hillary, and it is growing. Anne wrote about Hillary’s “brand renovation” in June, asking “where is she heading?”
Some even are saying Sarah Palin’s recommendation that Obama swap out his VP was a move to cut off that line of retreat.
Obama Press Secretary Jay Carney says the President’s lunch with Biden and Hillary is “routine.” They officially have until September 6, when the nominating process occurs at the Democratic National Convention, to make the decision.
Just this week, Biden opened a speech referencing his prior aneurysms.
One has to wonder, if it’s either the history of aneurysms or the equivalent of an insanity plea, is Biden setting up a health defense to renomination — bowing out for the good of the party while not admitting he knowingly did anything wrong.
I think it is highly unlikely, but is Biden dropping out something we should not wish for too hard because we may get it?
I think so. I say let Joe be Joe.
Romney should offer to pay Biden's travel expenses in exchange for keeping him on the ticket.
Biden should be replaced for the good of our Country. If something happens to Obama between now and January 20, 2013, Biden would be clueless as POTUS.

The press needs to start asking Bill Clinton if his wife would be a stronger running mate for the RAT ticket than Joe Biden. Bubba is going public by speaking at the convention so he should be hounded about this. I would love to see him defending Biden over Hillary.

In 1972 Sen. Joseph Biden, the Democrat nominee for vice President, lost his wife and young daughter in a car accident. Losing your family in an auto accident is a gut wrenching tragedy, to be sure. No one underestimates that and no ever blamed Mrs. Biden for the accident.
Right up there with despicable things one human can do to another, is falsely accusing the innocent of a crime. “Bearing false witness” is even in the 10 commandments, but Mr. Biden’s feigned Catholicism doesn’t let that stop him. (snip)
This is not news. According to his secret service detail, he goes home every weekend. They hate it. This was told to my husband by his ss detail when Slaw Joe stayed in our city on his way to a campaign stop a couple of months ago. As the fire inspector, my husband had to spend the night at the hotel and he talked most of the night with them.

Biden in SC for alcohol detox, Secret Service agents reveal
North Charleston – Vice President Joe Biden’s arrival for a weeklong vacation at Kiawah Island yesterday is actually a cover story for the Vice President’s stay at a North Charleston alcohol and substance abuse treatment center, theDiscust learned.
Secret Service agents on Biden’s detail were overheard in a bar at Charleston International Airport to say that the Vice President’s transportation to Kiawah Island actually contained a Biden look-alike. The agents, visibly drunk, were then confronted by the reporter who went on to obtain the whole story. According to the agents, Biden’s taste for alcohol was rekindled at the “Beer Summit” last week. Although Biden drank a non-alcoholic beer at the time, the agents claim that afterwards Biden went on what they described as a “bender” throughout D.C. bars.
South Carolina’s legislative delegation in Washington issued a release saying that they hoped Biden would return to active service status as soon as possible. Privately, at least one member of Congress from South Carolina admitted that he’s known Biden to be a drunk for quite some time. “Why do you think he talks so much and keeps putting his feet in his mouth all the time? The guy keeps fifths in every jacket pocket. I’ve heard that story for some time now, and I guess it proved to be true,” said the legislator on condition of anonymity.
Biden was ejected from at least three establishments in D.C. and Virginia before Secret Service supervisors and Biden’s wife were able to restrain him on that fateful evening. But, the agents continued, Biden’s alcohol use skyrocketed during the next few days. At the Vice President’s residence, D.C. police were called because of suspicious activity on the compound. After an investigation, a naked and drunk Biden was found to be the culprit.
President Obama’s staff, learning of the escapades, then ordered Biden into substance abuse treatment. That’s when the South Carolina trip disguise was created. Biden was checked in to Palmetto Behavioral Systems last night, according to the agents.
Spokesman for Palmetto would only confirm that they did have a nationally-known figure in their care and that detox and substance abuse counseling would begin today. _____________________________________________________________________
