Media Matters senior fellow Eric Boehlert said on Thursday that a group of former Navy SEALS dont have guts after the special forces operators launched a media campaign condemning the Obama administrations national security leaks.
#kindalame former Navy SEALs dont have guts to admit theyre running a GOP, anti-Obama campaign; http://nyti.ms/N2nYYj Boehlert wrote on Twitter Thursday morning.
The group Boehlert lashed out at is called the Special Operations OPSEC Education Fund and its composed of former U.S. intelligence and specials forces operators. They describe themselves as non-partisan and finger the current president as an example of a politician who uses national security secrets for political gain.
STOP the politicians, President Obama and others, from politically capitalizing on US national security operations and secrets! reads the organizations website.
Scott Taylor is a former Navy SEAL of eight and a half years, and was a 2010 GOP candidate for Congress. He is now a member of the Special Operations OPSEC Education Fund.
Taylor responded to Boehlerts tweet in a phone interview with The Daily Caller and said that his group of special forces operators is clearly not gutless.
Were clearly not gutless. Were in the public right now, completely out there, Taylor said.

WOW! Are the Libs asking for Henry Bowman to come out of the woodwork? That’s where this is headed.
Seriously?
I mean, sure, not everybody can be a Barack Obama after all. Not everybody can snort cocaine off of some other guy’s rear end. But still.
Nothing these useful idiots say surprises me anymore.
I’m former Army Intelligence. Where do I go to join up?
Uh, oh. The Lavender crowd is ready to swing their purses!
It’s been hog feedin’ time for a while now.
The adminisitration itself said that the OPSEC guys aren’t qualified to know how the leak would affect anyone, and aren’t affected by it themselves.
Isn’t that an oxymoron - like Naval Intelligence, etc.?
Calling a Navy SEAL “gutless” is rather ... gutsy.

"We use words like "honor", "code", "loyalty". We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline! I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it! Sure, the SEALs are brave, but that guy looks like the toughest hombre in any fern bar in DC. Sure hate to have him slap me with his purse.
I don’t know if I’d call it “gutsy”, more like “stupid”. It’s only “gutsy” while he can hide from the consequences of his words one way or the other.
Eric doesn’t have the guts to admit Media Matters is a left wing, bias, website that tries to help elect democrats.
rubber, glue, so on and so forth.
Media Matters is the official talking points source for the MediaPAC. Expect the word “gutless” to appear in the usual leftwing rags, print, and on air.
These bastids have figured out how how to take a bad situation (for obama) and make it worse.
