MINNEAPOLIS Human Life Alliance (HLA) recently released Street Magazine, a publication that is designed to engage mothers right outside abortion facilities.
We designed it to be easily tucked into a purse or pocket, helping young women hide it from Planned Parenthood deathscorts, said Jo Tolck, executive director of HLA, in a recent issue of the groups Action News publication. Our hope is this new tool will help sidewalk counselors engage more young women considering abortion.
Some 100,000 copies of the mag- azine were printed for this first edition. HLA plans to publish again in the fall or early in 2013.

HLAs Street Magazine is designed to engage a young mother in her crisis pregnancyright outside an abortion centerduring her final moments of decision. The small size is great for sidewalk counseling and can easily be tucked into a purse or backpack. This ensures Planned Parenthood deathscorts wont easily confiscate this powerful pro-life material. In addition, the simple format makes it faster and easier to share information on the streets; which is critical when the average time to save a life on the streets is only nine or ten seconds.
Inside youll find important information to share with a young woman in a crisis pregnancy:
Heart changing testimonies of women who regret their abortions
Important new information on legal rights for pregnant mothers
Five things a woman should know before deciding on abortion
How to get help after a baby is born
And much, much, more.
