I'm thinking that about 1 in 10 people who are polled may very well be too stupid to understand the question. What do you think the odds are that someone may hit one instead of two? After all most English speakers are used to hitting one when asked a stupid question over the phone. Just saying these factors are probably skewing the results! LOL

You are probably right that the folks being polled don't understand the question.

For example, look at the number of times per day someone in FreeRepublic, where we KNOW THESE THINGS, mistakes the House of Representatives for "Congress". They just whizz right on by the Senate to kvetch about the House ~ which has usually already passed the beneficial legislation the complainant thinks is so necessary.
