You ain't done never spent a summer in Houston have you?
Hot and the muggiest place I have ever been. Fourth of July in Houston and the entire population looks like they have wet their pants. That said, I would guess their employees would probably have a longer life expectancy in Houston.

I’m in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. Same weather here as there and in New Orleans, Mobile, Pensacola and Panama City. Hot and muggy is a state of mind. Yeah, the humidity is sometimes so thick your glasses fog up every time you walk outside, but that’s just in the summer. Mild winters and moderate climate by the Gulf of Mexico is great as compared to Illinois. I can avoid getting my car stuck in sand. Not as easy in snow...........
