No sooner had Mitt Romney announced Paul Ryan as his running mate than Democrats and their backers started attacking the Wisconsin Republican as a "radical."
President Obama's campaign manager, Jim Messina, immedi ately sent an email out to supporters calling Ryan the "author of a budget so radical the New York Times called it 'the most extreme budget plan passed by a House of Congress in modern times.'" Superman picks up a locomotive rushing down the tracks going the wrong direction, and in an amazing demonstration of leverage, spins it about 180 degrees, then sets it back down on the tracks, now headed back along the tracks to a much safer place.
Not sure if Paul Ryan can accomplish this feat, but he MIGHT be able to throw a switch ahead of the locomotive and at least divert it to a siding, where it may stop and begin to move in a reverse direction.
Hell after 1200 days without one, just having a budget would be pretty radical!
