Superman picks up a locomotive rushing down the tracks going the wrong direction, and in an amazing demonstration of leverage, spins it about 180 degrees, then sets it back down on the tracks, now headed back along the tracks to a much safer place.

Not sure if Paul Ryan can accomplish this feat, but he MIGHT be able to throw a switch ahead of the locomotive and at least divert it to a siding, where it may stop and begin to move in a reverse direction.
