In 2002, there were 19,000 municipal governments throughout the US, but as many as 30,000 incorporated cities.

There are over 43,000 places with unique zip codes, and probably no “cities” without their own zip codes. Many large cities have 2 or more zip codes. A guess would be around 20,000 to 25,000 including larger towns and such.

Our military would have a damn hard time stationing a single English speaking platoon in every city in America let alone rumbling through them in armed personnel carriers.

If American citizens are that frightened of US military troops or local cops knocking on their doors to collect our firearms, then a few million of us need to go to Washington DC and hang every last elected legislator by his or her neck because none of them will have followed through with their sworn Oath of Office. While we’re at it we should hang our state and local elected officials too, for not resisting the Department of Homeland Security and giving us advance notice and protecting our communities.

We hired and elected these people to protect our communities not terrorize our families. They are the ones that we should be confronting. If they want to terrorize our families then we can do the same to theirs.

Last year I was talking to a young (45)Marine who was just released from duty about how the people are afraid of the government. He knew what I was talking about because their had been discussions in his home about the subject.

He was telling me that his brother works in a building that adjoins the local FBI office. He set up a wireless motion detector camera and recorded everyone who went in or came out of a particular back door of the building. In three days he determined who the most likely candidates were for FBI agents.

I am guessing now but I wouldn’t be surprised if he hasn’t done the same thing at their local BATFE and DEA offices.

Seems like a good idea to me if you consider these people to be working against your ideals and standards.

Now is not the time to allow race, creed or to divide us.

Sure, those numbers make no sense whatsoever if an entity was planning to conquer them. The point is we are dealing with people with no sense. They believe in their cause and they believe that somehow their will can be made law and that law will be followed…somehow. It really doesn’t make any sense no matter how the numbers are run to go against certain beliefs we hold dear. It always comes out lopsided.

if there ever was an "insurgency" or asymmetric conflict the funny thing is that communications, surveillance, 3-D printing/manufacturing, and other new technologies are going to make it fun.

Read the book "Total Resistance" and substitute the printing presses for social media, videographers, photoshop technicians and blogger/programmer/ap-developers.

As far as posting anything anywhere I was remembering that it's always best to appear weak, frightened and incompetent to the enemy. Work from within the system and gather intel.

Of course that's all from what I've read in books and in no way represents anything that I'm aware of or capable of participating in.

Just like everybody else here just likes to speculate? Right?

Every American in that room knew that everything Lamm enumerated was proceeding methodically, quietly, darkly, yet pervasively across the United States today.

It is and I doubt this election will be able to change the course or that the current GOP wants to.

You raise some good points, you and I of our like mind, but let me make some additional points.

1 It will be our neighbors who will turn us in. Obamacare has set up a big bureaucracy for us to report infidels to for example. There is always a local individual who will want to have power over us.

2) We are past a republic and even past a democracy, we are bureaucracy, voting is an illusion. They voted a lot in the soviet union. I have asked libs why they don't fear big govt like they fear big business and the answer they give me is that they can vote - fools.

3) I was raised that we were all equal before the law and God, do we understand how few people think the same? And the long path to get back to that thinking?

4) I trying to be a realist, it will be PAINFULL process correcting things as we are far off course, but it is possible. HOw problable, I don't know.
