Vice President Joe Biden invoked Paul Ryan's deceased father to question the Republican vice presidential candidate's values:
"My dad used to have another saying, for real," Biden said. "And, by the way, I've been saying this for 30 years. And I'm glad to see that Congressman Ryan likes his dad, too, and quotes his dad. I mean that sincerely. But my dad [had] a lot of wisdom. Every time someone tell you, say, 'Look, let me tell you what's important to me, what I value.' My dad would go, 'No, no. Don't tell me what you value. Show me your budget, and I will tell you what you value.'"
Ryan's father died when the congressman was 15 years old.

This is easy. Cue ad:
Vice President Joe Biden says you cal tell someones values by the budget they have. Let’s look at what President Obama’s budget tells you about his values:
- Obama favors crushing the producers in society with taxes and giving the money to people who don’t work.
- Obama favors having the same government who can’t deliver mail without losing $5 billion a quarter take over your healthcare.
- Obama favors placing crushing debt burdens on our children that they will never be able to pay off.
- Obama favors crushing regulation that make it impossible to grow a business and create jobs.
- Obama favors making people slaves to the government.
Those are the values Obama’s budget shows me.
The damn ad writes itself.
Seriously, what person would connote a family budget with values? Has anyone ever heard such an expression?
This is a manufactured lie by Biden and in typical poor taste, as well.

How does he get away with this garbage? Joe lives in a fantasy world.

From what I have seen, Mr. and Mrs. Biden DO NOT value charity to others (as illustrated by their past charitable giving tax information which is far below the average for their income). He would do well to not to call attention to this particular shortcoming of his by using this illustration.
Then again, he probably doesn’t even see the correlation between the quote of his father and his situation.
Biden will be too ill to show for the 11 Oct. VP debate.
