One darn thing for sure is “we” are not for Romney either but our disdain for Obama far outweighs being unnecessarily critical to the only one who is in a position to unseat the Dear Leader of the left.
Seems like “we” have cobbled an economy in our respective states where we are not fatalists and soldier on not complaining about our lot but doing absolutely everything we can to change it. Does Wisconsin, Florida and Texas have any meanings where “we” have turned things around?
The truth shall set you free, but at first it will make you miserable. Time for a few “patriots” in New England to receive their overdue dose of reality and only you have the ability to turn the rudder in your respective states at least ten degrees instead of letting it go on autopilot complaining that ten degrees is not enough.
In those states you mentioned, I tip my hat to you.
It is easy to sit in where ever you are and criticize MA conservatives and republicans. I think what we did in electing Scott Brown a couple of years ago shows we can pull it together.
The issue here is that even in the most conservative areas you get drowned out. And, quite honestly it is difficult to give a crap when you know it means nothing. We do what we can, where we can.
Given that we STARTED the last revolution, I think we can get a little break from conservatives in other states.
Getting back to the original points of my posts—I just get frustrated when folks who CAN make a difference get all worked up over what Sarah is going to do, or not do. Sarah’s time is not now. Perhaps later, but not now. And there are tons of people on Free Republic who worship her to a degree that it gets in the way of what we CAN do now.
And to your point of letting go of the rudder? Voting for Romney even here in MA is a wasted vote. I will turn the lever for him, but he will NEVER win Mass. Never EVER. It is a simple fact of life around here.
The best we will be able to do for the cause is make sure a stake goes in Barney’s chest...let him sail away to Block Island with his “wife” “husband” or whatever they call each other. We will put Scott Brown back too. Not Reagan, but not Elizabeth Warren either.
Thank you for being civil. That doesnt happen much around here these days.
