For Conscience, recall that the Framing generation believed republican government should support the foundational institutions of civil society. Christianity, family, industry, virtue in general and respect for the Constitution help unite us, and in a sane America would be promoted by all levels of government.
Islam is making inroads because government has unconstitutionally stomped on Christianity for some fifty years. People will not believe in nothing and bloody islam is filling the void.
