In riparian rights states the land owner can divert a pro rata share of rainfall based on the size of the tract. Apparently Oregon has a different water rights law. There are few facts contained in the article.

As a general note it is easy to get stamped to wrong conclusions on just about any topic. Not saying that is the case here. But some “conservatives” get caught up in the same fallacy as leftists in not knowing all the facts. -—Just speaking as a hydrologist and hydraulic engineer.

Examples, please. I have lived in Idaho for 25 years, currently in the most liberal city/legislative ditrict in the state, but don’t sense anything near the statewide mind set of Oregon. Even here there is credible blow-back against a LIBERAL mayor. What am I missing?
