Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich tells Newsmax there is an easy way for Mitt Romney to show support for Chick-fil-A and its presidents statements backing traditional marriage serve the chains meals at the Republican National Convention.
Chick-fil-A President Dan Cathy sparked controversy when he told the Baptist Press that the family-owned company, which puts faith ahead of profits by closing on Sundays, was guilty as charged for backing the biblical definition of a family.
He later ratcheted up the rhetoric in a radio interview, saying: I think we are inviting Gods judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at Him and say, We know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage....

Terrible idea. I was talking to a Chick-fil-A host yesterday. And what is perfectly clear is that CFA would like nothing better than for the whole thing to just die down and be forgotten. They just want to do their job - and their mission statement has nothing, in their minds, to do with politics.Of course, that attitude takes no account of the eagerness with which the left politicizes everything.
First we need a Presidential ticket that isn't queer-loving.
